strange hook in a craft shop or from online shop. We want to
know about it and how it can be use.. what for??
But we shy or maybe there is no one to
ask about this. So with this article maybe we could share
about this.
In Indonesia we only know three brands
of crochet hooks like Rose ( especially for lace crochet),
Tulip and Clover and all of that is all from metal or steel.
It is easy to find crochet hook with no.1/0 till 6/0, but
if we need a big size (no.7/0-10/0) it was difficult to find
only some shop have them and not complete. Hope with our
sharing many crocheters have more knowledge about this.
Material of Crochet Hook :
There are some material for a crochet
hook in international market that we could choose depend on
what we like.

Bamboo Hook
Japan and China has this kind of hook. Japan more smooth
than China product but China is cheaper than Japan product.
Hamanaka is one of the company in Japan who has Bamboo hook.
I don’t know in China cause it always no brand in their
hook.

Metal/Steel/Aluminium Hook
In Indonesia we haven’t like this, but it’s so colourful and
sophisticated. But if you like it craft and me could be
possible to supply it.
