HOW TO ROLL YARN FROM A SKEIN

If you bought yarn that is not roll yet and you don’t have yarn winder neither umbrella swift, you can try these instructions to roll it so your yarn is not ended knotting up. It’s an easy and not expensive way and using anything you have around you.

Here is how to roll yarn from a skein:

Tidy up the yarn so you can put the skein of yarn on any object that can hold it while you are rolling the yarn. I use legs of chair (you can use someone’s else arms too if they agree to hold the yarn for quite a while)

Take 2 chopsticks or maybe your knitting needle will be fine.

Start rolling the yarn into the chopsticks that you put in cross shape. Roll it so every side of the chopsticks is balance.

After you finish rolling the yarn, just pull out the chopsticks from the yarn, and your yarn is ready to use now.

Anyway, if you don’t like this way, you could read another way here:

Happy knitting and crocheting!
