Free Knitting Pattern

Material :
2 straight 8mm needles
4 dpns no 8 or circular needle no 8
2 red plastic ring, diameter : 10cm
3 skein slub mixed yarn red
2 skein white wool
Gauge : 15 sts, 25 row = 10cm
Size : 27 cm x 40 cm
Instruction:
Handle
1. Cast on 25 sts (do in 2 handle, divided), turn.
2. Row 1 : p (ws), turn.
3. Row 2 : increase k1, k all sts, increase k1, turn.
4. Repeat instruction in row 2 until you have 39 sts.
5. Join 2 handle, divided into 3 dpns (26, 26, 26),
place marker.
Body
1. Change colour (white), k 9 rounds.
2. Change colour (mixed yarn red), k 1 round.
3. Change again to white, k 17 rounds, increase k1.
4. Do lace pattern :
*k1, p1, yo, k2tog*
repeat from * to end.
5. Do zig-zag pattern :
Rnd 1 : k2, p1,
*k3, p1* repeat from*
to end, k1.
Rnd 2 : k1, p1, *k1, p1* repeat from * to end
Rnd 3 : *p1, k3* repeat from * to end, p1, k1.
Repeat Rnd 1-3 once more.
6. Do lace pattern again :
*k1, p1, yo, k2tog*
repeat from * to end.
7. K 4 rounds.
8. Change colour (mixed yarn red)
Do pattern below :
Rnd 1-2 : k all sts
Rnd 3 : k1, k2tog, k until last 3 sts in front
body (place marker), ssk, k2, k2tog, k until last 3 sts,
ssk, k1.
Rnd 4 : change colour (white) k all sts
Repeat Rnd 3 pattern for odd rounds (3,5,7,.....25)
Repeat Rnd 4 pattern for even rounds (4,6,8, .... 24)
9. Join all sts with tapestry needles, weave in end.
